9th EuroSummer School on Biorheology & Symposium on Micro and Nano Mechanics and Mechanobiology of Cells, Tissues and Systems - Varna, Bulgaria, 3rd - 5th September, 2026
Awards for the best young scientists (students, postgraduate students, and those aged under 35) will be presented. They will be chosen based on a four-page manuscript describing the results of the study, with the author(s) applying for the award. The application should be accompanied by a short letter from the candidate with his/her curriculum vitae. The President of the 9th EuroSummer School on Biorheology & Symposium on Micro and Nano Mechanics and Mechanobiology of Cells, Tissues and Systems should receive these materials before July 25th, 2026.

AWARDS
Three young scientists - doctoral students were honored, with two first and one second prizes being awarded:
First Award – Mr. Kacper Dykas - a physician and PhD student at the Doctoral School of Medical and Health Sciences, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków. His current research focuses on early biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease, an important and still insufficiently explored clinical problem.
First Award – Mr. Pavel Moldon - First-year PhD student at the Faculty of Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Specializes in optical methods for investigating the microrheological properties of blood.
Second Award – Mr. Sándor Richárd Záhorszki, Msc - Molecular biologist. From 2024 – present Clinical medicine PhD part-time, Doctoral School of Clinical Medicine, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary, whose specialty is the study of hemorheological and microcirculatory changes in certain pathologies (e.g. diabates mellitus, metabolic syndrome).
